Invoice Download Issue

Hello Support!

Whenever I download a registration transaction invoice or receipt to pdf, the pdf format looks different then the webpage format. It gets all messed up – see related email sent to support with attachment. Is there a solution to this? Is it my pdf settings or is it an issue with event espresso that can be adjusted?

Hi Annette,

Usually this happens when fopen has been disabled on your sever.

Event Espresso uses DOMPDF to create the PDF’s, DOMPDF uses allow_url_fopen for the images and styles. If this is disabled on your server the images and styles of the PDF’s fail and the invoice looks different fro the preview.

I would recommend contacting your host and have them set allow_url_fopen to true on your server. They may also need to restart Apache for these changes to take effect.
