Am researching membership plug-ins that integrate well with Event Espresso before purchase and I need one that provides for single sign-in so member can get free or discounted event registrations through event plug-in. Which membership plug-ins do you recommend for best integration with EE? I’ve reviewed MemberPress, Paid Membership Pro, Exchange and DAP as plug-ins that seem best. Also hoping to have similar situation with online learning courses (looking at LearnDash and WPCourseware), what recommendations do you have for plug-ins that integrate with EE.

I was told by one developer that EE uses email for members to sign in, while Paid Membership Pro uses ID Name but that doesn’t seem correct.

Hi Nancy,

With EE3 we would recommend S2Member, though in theory any membership plugin would work.

The WP User Integration add on for Event Espresso, allows for logged in users to have a membership discount. We have a small Beta plugin that can allow the discount to be triggered at a different S2Member level.

Please note, tiered discounts are not possible (e.g. user level one discount 10%, user level 2 discount 20% etc).

With EE4, we have yet to introduce a discount system, but when it is in place, any membership plugin should be sufficient.

Regarding learning courses, EE3 does not have any integration, but EE4 has a new integration with Learndash. Please see here fore more info https://eventespresso.com/2014/05/learndash-now-integrated-event-espresso-4/
