Hi,
I have a Clover POS merchant account and associated hardware device for real world payments via credit card, etc.
Is it possible to use this for my attendees to pay for event registrations?
Clover is a commonly use POS solution in the US and this would be a big win.

Hi Kevin,
Building this or any third-party integration would require contracting with a developer. You could check with codeable.io to see if anyone working through codeable would be able to give you a quote on building this.

In doing some more research, it looks like Clover is owned by First Data and Mijireh has a First Data gateway. So could this be a valid path:
My web site > EE > Mijireh > First Data
This whole space is confusing and I am trying to wrap my arms around it 🙂

While Clover is owned by First Data, I don’t believe the First Data gateway products integrate with Clover. You could check with Clover or First Data to see if they have a way to integrate or sync merchant accounts. One other option would be to use First Data’s Payeezy gateway, which has an add-on for Event Espresso 4. See also:

for online payments.
Then for at-event payments, Payeezy does have a POS available. That feature does not integrate with Event Espresso, but at least you could have one merchant account.
