I have have EE Version 4.8.27.p & infusionsoft addon Version 2.1.2.p (which as of today appear to be the latest versions… I am having two issues, 1. when the ticket price is taxable, and fully paid , it appears unpaid in infusionsoft and the tax line etc dosent come through, using Mijireh. 2. when you use a coupon in the promotional area, to full pay off a ticket 100% disccount , it appears unpaid in infusionsoft, and if you set up ticket and discount 50% off and then paid the balance via Mijireh , it is fully paid in EE , and the other 50% is unpaid in infusionsoft. so in summary when a taxable amount is added, it dosent come into infusionsoft and it not fully paid, and if you use a coupon, the amount taken off from the promotion appears to be unpaid. I googled the issue and saw a closed ticket from Josh in Nov 15, being aware of it, the tax issue, not the promotion, he indicated a new version was coming out, not sure if it has been fixed in the current version, i couldnt see a change log issue , not sure if been released, but i need this fixed prior to using it with infusionsoft. the issue previous reported dosent make a mention of the issue of promotions. the url for the closed ticket was https://eventespresso.com/topic/infusionsoft-not-passing-payments-or-tax-amounts/ |

i have downloaded the zip file from josh post and it does fix the tax issue, but still not the promotional / discount coupon issue. i downloaded the dev version of infusionsoft plugin Version 2.1.2.p.003 can you provide update on the promotional / discount coupon issue thanks MK |
Hi MK, Currently no updates as there is an open bug ticket for the Infusionsoft add-on to get updated so it correctly handles discount amounts. I can update this thread with updates when progress is made on that ticket. |

Thanks josh, is there a rough eta? And if you need me to test a beta let me know ? |
No ETA at the moment. Once there’s a branch that is ready for testing, I can add a link to it here so you’ll be able to test it. |
|
Someone was able to test this over the weekend as soon as the fixes were ready, so the new version of the Infusionsoft add-on was released today and includes the fixes for promotions/discounts. |

Josh , I updated ee core to latest version and also updated the Infusionsoft Add on , still it doesn’t work http://i66.tinypic.com/4szcjt.png |
Hi MK, Are you checking the very last order for the event registration that’s logged by Infusionsoft? Here’s what we’re seeing when we check the last order when we test: |
|
|
Josh, I have tested this again and still dosent work, I am forwarded all the print screens and testing info to the support email, for you to look at due to the nature of the print screens showing live real personal data. i will cc seth, can you speak to them along and reply to me via email. thanks mk |
Sorry for the non-email reply, support is generally handled here in the forums. Looks like it’s only an issue with using off-site gateways like Mijireh. I’ll make a ticket for the developers so someone can investigate. They may have to move the sync to Infusionsoft to a later point to accommodate the later gateway response so everything clears. |

will this fix the tax issue too in infusionsoft. please get the developers to see that in my print screen examples of starting price was $2.20 incl of tax (10%) then i applied a discount of 50% off and then the balance at that point should be $1.10 based on my settings. then when an offsite c/c payment of mijireh happens for the full amount should appear in infusionsoft the same was as the example. along with infusionsoft not seeing the mijirih payment the print screen examples show a balance of $1.20.. i only futher mention to look at the print screens as they show the whole picture and to save another version released to fix the payment but not seeing the tax issue. hope all my information and testing data helps? any idea of time for developers to look at this thanks mk |
Hi MK, Mike worked on this last night and has a branch that’s ready for testing. Since the Infusionsoft add-on is hosted on a private Github repository, here’s a dropbox link so you can download it: |

Josh, I have tested it again, and it works ok in EE, see screenshot of order in EE below I used the same scenario $2.20 incl of (10%) tax then used promotion of 50% off , leaving a balance of $1.10 (incl 10% tax) , I then paid this on Mijireh. with this updated plugin, infusionsoft doesn’t even acknowledge the original amount of $2.00 + tax of 0.20 (tax) or ($2.20 incl tax) it now only shows the order details of the promotion part $1.10 split wrongly as Tax 0.10 and then promotion of -1.00 total order of 0.90c (not correct) it shows no payments of Mijireh. (which it did in previous version) also now has balance of-0.90 too. so all in all unfortunately the problem is not solved and actually a bit worse (sorry for saying) let me know when you have another version to test. screen shots included. http://postimg.org/image/yoptcirm5/ |
Hi Mike, Are you running any custom functions that hook into the checkout or alter what gets sent to Infusionsoft? The reason I ask is because we are not getting the same results from testing. Here’s a screenshot from the test I did that used Mijireh: |
|
|
I don’t know what hooks are … Could it be plugin clash …. Let me know |
You can check the live testing event registration here: Then when you checkout, you can use the promo code HALF to test the 50% discount. Please note that the Mijireh checkout will not work for you without being logged into its test account, but you can use the PayPal sandbox or Pay by credit card option, which autofills the testing credit card details. |

Josh, I just made a test order on the URL you provided and it worked in the front end , just like mine did. Any advice or feedback would be appreciated |
Have you tried running the test with only Event Espresso 4, promotions, infusionsoft add-on active, along with the default WordPress theme? You can rule out an issue with the payment method, you can test finalizing the registration with the Invoice Payment method. The payment amount will be $0, but the line items should be correct and none missing. |

Josh, Hope your well, i am sorry i started testing this now. but i have continued and i think there may be light at the end of the tunnel. So here’s what I know so far. Firstly all testing has been on 2.1.3p – as i removed the newer versions as they were causing lots of issues. mijireh is not working at all really, – so i have since pushed it to the side, even a normal enrolment without a promo -only brings the tax through in infusionsoft. so to see what was causing it , I tested the following and these are my findings. If you enrol someone no promotion and choose invoice as the payment method it works fine in infusionsoft with tax separate , unpaid as it should be all good. If you enrol someone no promotion and choose paypal standard as the payment method it works fine in infusionsoft with tax separate ,comes in fully paid. If you enrol someone with a promotion and choose paypal standard as the payment method ( and have 50% off of $2.20 inc tax of (10%)) should be $1.10 owing if you have Promotions Affect Taxes – tick box to yes. it doesnt work and has a balance outstanding in infusionsoft for 0.10c if you have Promotions Affect Taxes – tick box to no. it works and has a balance of $0.00 in infusionsoft for 0.10c so in summary this only works in paypal when you have Promotions Affect Taxes – tick box to no Hope this makes sense, and mijireh is broken , promos or not, data is completly wrong in infusionsoft. Only bonus the EE system is correct with taxes and payments every time regardless of options chosen. so at this time we can use infusionsoft for EE , and we have to charge tax, must use paypal only at this moment. We cant use promotions, charge tax , infusionsoft at all in any payment gateway until fixes. have fun MK |
Thanks for the feedback MK. |
