Hello, We have a very peculiar situation wherein a delegate registered himself on our website yesterday and the Moneris transaction was successful, since we received ‘transaction approved’ email from Moneris, but at the backend of our website, within event espresso, it shows the payment as ‘incomplete’ ! Before making the registration live, we did a couple of test registrations, by actually paying with our credit cards, and all those transactions were successful and the payment status showed as ‘complete’ in event espresso. Do you have any idea why the payment status is shown as ‘incomplete’ for this particular registration from China, though the Moneris transaction was successful? We hope that it doesn’t happen again. Any help will be highly appreciated. Regards |
Hi, You could log in to your Moneris account and check the Hosted Pay Page Configuration to make sure the Response URL provided in the Hosted Pay Page Configuration is correct. https://eventespresso.com/wiki/payment-settings-ee3/#Moneris Also, if you get in touch with the individual you could check with them to see if they had any trouble with returning back to your site from the Moneris Hosted Pay Page. |

Hi, We recently got two new registrations from China, and both of them were successful. The Moneris had captured their payments and their payment status shows as completed within event espresso. As explained in my previous email, the other two registrants from China paid the registration fee, but didn’t receive any confirmation emails from event espresso, since for some reason, event espresso showed their payment status as incomplete, though Moneris had received the payments. So, for these two registrations, what would be the best way to send the payment and registration confirmation emails? Should we simply change the payment status (manually) from incomplete to completed in the backend and select ‘yes’ option under Email notice (see screenshot below). Or do you recommend us to send them two promo codes, so that they can register themselves again? Please advice. Regards |

Hi gurjeets, So just to confirm is everything working as expected now? It sounds like there was an issue with the Moneris IPN sent from their server, to yours. |
