I went live with a site this weekend and am having about a 70% success rate with the registrations. Some people are having difficulty with the check out and for whatever reason are reregistering after having initial issues. I’d like to be able to put an if statement to show if their user has any registrations that are set to “incomplete” so I can show a nice obvious notice for them to go to their “my programs” admin and finalize the payment option rather then reregistering into the system.
anyone have any help on how to do this? I’d preferably like to include the if statement in my header or sidebar with a nice notice and link to their programs page.
I’m assuming you’re using WP User Integration and that these people are already logged in? If not, I’m not sure it would be possible since the info isn’t stored until after they’ve submitted it.
That’s correct Chris, sorry for leaving that part out. I am user the WP USer Integration add on and would essentially like to show a warning notice letting people know they have incomplete registrations. I’ve had issues with people not completing the paypal checkouts and then they reregister from scratch which is causing a ton of duplicate registrations in the system.
Right now, people need to be logged in to even see the add to cart buttons and register, so would love to be able to show this warning after they login IF they have any Events registered and marked as “incomplete”
hope this is doable!
thanks either way Chris
