I am using “Add iCal icon to Event template” in EE3. When my customer registers for an event and uses this to add it this to their calendar, my site’s default email is included as an “invitee” (iCal) or “Organizer” (Google). When they choose “Accept, Maybe, Decline” an email is sent back to me to confirm. Is this a functionality on iCal’s part, or is there anything I can do to not have my site’s default email included as an invitee/organizer, or set it to not have the option to send an email?
Yes, I thought of that as a workaround too. I’ve turned off the template setting since I noticed a person could add it to their calendar before they actually registered and that could be confusing. I would consider adding it to the Email Confirmation, but my question would remain–can I not include an email replay address for the organizer?
I would go with the email filter option. Let me know if you need help setting it up as I use gmail/google apps.
