I understand this is likely due to the them I am using, but I am experiencing large gaps of space between payment options when going through a test registration.

I saw in another thread to try using the raw tags (I think that was the term used) but I don’t know what this means. When I pull up the page source I can see a ton of </br> where I would expect the breaks to be coming from… just don’t know how to fix it!

Hi,
It’s a two fold issue where the theme is adding break tags and also wrapping hidden inputs in paragraph tags. This is normally cuased by a function in the theme that modifies the content formatting.
In the main registration page (the Event Registration page) change the display to the TEXT tab and where the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode is change it to [raw][ESPRESSO_EVENTS][/raw]
This only works with theme that allow raw tags.
If it doesnt work, then you will need to find the function in the theme that is affecting the formatting of the content and disable it.
