Hi,

I developed my site with a new host using the IP address, and have now changes the nameservers to point to it.

Everything works, apart from I’m now trying to force SSL on the payment pages so I can use Paypal Pro.

I get this error message when I try to go to the EE pages that should have SSL forced:

You attempted to reach *80.82.117.225*, but instead you actually reached a
server identifying itself as*www.36exp.co.uk http://www.36exp.co.uk>*.
This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more
serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a
fake (and potentially harmful) version of*80.82.117.225*.

Is there something I need to do in EE to update this?

Hi,

I tried to test this but you have disabled PayPal Pro?

I would check that in the General Settings section the main pages are pointed to the correct URLS. It might be worthwhile to flush your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks and clicking save.

Also HTTPS wasnt set on the payment page – I assume due to having PayPal Pro disabled?

fixed it – I still had the host in WP HTTPS plug in set as the IP address, changed it to match my domain and all fine
