Hi everyone,

With moving into using paid ticket options, we want to include a few lines of helpful text, to let users know that while the PayPal button is the only option viewable for payment, that they may also pay just using a credit card.

In this screenshot, we’d like to add the line “[We] accept payment by credit card or a PayPal account via PayPal.com” — http://itc.mb.ca/files/method.png

By adding this notification, we hope to inform users (who are inexperienced with PayPal), that they don’t need a PayPal account, in order to process payment.

From my understanding, I understand that it is not advised that we alter the .PHP files directly, but that if we are to make additions, we need to make a copy of the file, and add this file to a different directory, so that the updates will not be overwritten when EE updates.

Can you please help in terms of which file we need to add this line of text, as well as where to include this file in our WordPress directory, so that it is not overwritten in the future?

Thank you!

-B.

Hi,

I don’t believe it’s possible to over rule that template file. You could instead use the language files to change the wording.
