Currently we are set up in “Events” default settings ‘Pending Payment’.
In the back-end we see all the approved registrations which have no payment made.
Is this due to a user filling out the registration form and then not making a payment?
Is there a way to set up EE4 so that registration is not approved until a payment is received? Will this affect outgoing emails?
There are two options for the Default registration status, the default on mentioned above. But there is also a setting within each event (which defaults to the setting mentioned) that allows you to set this on a per event basis. If you edit one of you events you’ll find the default registration status within the sidebar. Is that set to Pending Payment also?
The reason I ask is when the default is ‘Pending Payment’ the registration status should not update to ‘Approved’ until payment is made. If you look on the Edit Event page do you registrations all list under registration approved? – http://take.ms/Y4Slk
