Hi team,

I need to add “Event End Date” to the intro text of an event, listed with other category events.

At the moment we only see the start date.

Im using the Optimize Press 2.0 template. Is there some code that you can share, that I can to the CSS script to make it happen?!

Thanks in advance dudes,

Bob

Hi Lorenzo,

Heres the page:

http://www.rpx2.com/event-registration/

I need “Workshop start date” and “Workshop end date” on there…

Cheers,

Bob

Login to your WordPress site with an SFTP or FTP client. FileZilla and Cyberduck are free options.

Browse to this location:

wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/templates

Download these files to your computer:

event_list.php
event_list_display.php

Then browse to this location:

wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/

Then upload the files that you downloaded to the location above.

Now open the event_list_display.php file for editing.

At around line 87, you’ll see the following:

Change it to this and save changes to your file:

Hi Bob,

Just leave the originals untouched in the original location.

Files placed within wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/ override the originals from within event-espresso/templates/

Leaving the originals allows you to simply rename the wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/ directory to something else, and the originals will then load. This will allow you to troubleshoot easier, as if you run into any problems you can disable the custom templates easily and ee will automatically load the originals so you can see if the issue is with the customisation or within core.

Hope that helps.
