Hi! First of all, I am loving this program and pretty happy with how my event is turning out. One area I am trying to finish is the emails/message templates. How can I add the ticket description to print directly in email? This is important as we want specific details to print in the email.
Thanks for your help!

Hi,

You can add the [TICKET_DESCRIPTION] shortcode to the [TICKET_LIST] section of the email message template.

I tried this. It added another line to the PDF that is downloaded after you submit the form, but it did NOT add a line to the actual email. I’m trying to add the email itself….any other ideas? Or am I doing something wrong?

It doesn’t sound like you were editing the template for the email. You go to Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Templates. There, you’ll select the type of email you want to edit. For example, if you’re adding this to the Registration Approved email that’s sent to the Registrant, you’ll scroll down to the “Registration Approved” row, and click on the “Registrant” link in that row. That will open the editor for that template.
