I have looked at your forum anwsers and have tried – turning off “Show Ticket Sale Info?” in the Event template. Does this work for events that have already been set up or only new events?

I’ve also tried adding the following code (taken from one of your forums)

.tckt-slctr-tkt-details-td .tckt-slctr-tkt-price-sctn,
.tckt-slctr-tkt-details-td .tckt-slctr-tkt-sale-dates-sctn {
display: none;
}

Neither options have worked for us. What are we missing?

Hi,

You can remove the “Show Details” link by going to Event Espresso > Events > Templates and set “Show Ticket Details?” to No. Then click the Save button.

I’ve done that but it’s still showing

There are references to multiple different locations above, so first:

turning off “Show Ticket Sale Info?” in the Event template

What that does, is change what is displayed in this section:

https://monosnap.com/file/d3BcShpGyukGMz298C4SBdFEJZMknB

I’ve also tried adding the following code (taken from one of your forums)

.tckt-slctr-tkt-details-td .tckt-slctr-tkt-price-sctn,
.tckt-slctr-tkt-details-td .tckt-slctr-tkt-sale-dates-sctn {
display: none;
}

That CSS is working on your site (I used a link to the event you provided in another thread), it’s hiding the sections within the details that it is intended to hide, which is these sections – https://monosnap.com/file/m5rWiJVVknNUEKXyuXWTaoz2UelH8w

I’ve done that but it’s still showing

To be 100% sure, that option is here – https://monosnap.com/file/p12itEmTwZmkG66dbapQlwiRLHqvUc

That will completely remove this – https://monosnap.com/file/sP1kaYnK9MDpWvYpmiGd1JQgQzLVcC

So can you double check you have that set to No currently? I can see on your event it still displays, but that makes no sense if that option is set to No.

If you re-save the Event Template setings page does the option continue to say No?

It does – it stays as “no”. I’ve tried changing this “yes” and then saving it again and then changing it back to “no” but nothing seems to change.

Since your other topic reports issues related to settings saved to the options table not working as expected, this may be related. If you update the setting on the live site does it begin hiding the Show Details link ask expected?

This is happening on the live “demo” site. The cron issue we were having has been resolved. I’m wondering if I need to update EE on the demo site. Because we haven’t added the licence to this site, we’ve not got the automatic updates. Do you think this could be the issue?

No I don’t think the other version or the lack of license key could be the issue. I think the issue is related to the site not syncing to the site’s options table.

Do you have any idea’s how we can resolve this? I’ve tried changing other options on the Template page such as “hide expired tickets” and hide venue etc and they all worked.

Thanks for letting us know that the issue was resolved by removing the conflict from your customized version of ticket_selector_chart.template_show_ticket_fees.php
