I can reorder and rebuild tickets and get this to work, but it seems a bit wonky. Do you have a carefully defined process order of how to create tickets and allow them to work without failure?
The fix is to deactivate object caching and/or other types of caching on your pages that have ticket selectors. In other words your events pages need to be served dynamically, not served from a cache.
Along with the above, if you have any modifications done to the ticket selector code, those should be reviewed as there may be required ticket markup missing.
