Is there a way to have a a notification of a class registration be sent to multiple email address rather than just the one Primary Contact in the General Settings? I know I can do a auto forward in the email program, but that would send ALL the email that goes to that email address. I look forward to hearing back. |
Hi Daniel, By default, the notification with the registration details goes to the event admin which is the author or creator of the event. A copy with similar information is also sent to the registrant/attendee. Are you trying to copy those notifications to the event author + another email address? If so, go to Event Espresso –> Messages. Then look for the registration approved message type and click on the event admin recipient. Then enter a comma and the email address and then save changes: If you are wanting other emails to be copied to the email above, then also edit the event admin recipient for those message types and then save changes. — |

Lorenzo, Thanks again for the quick response. |
Hi Daniel, There is a cc email option available in Event Espresso 3 that you can use. Could you confirm that you are wanting to send a copy of the emails to a specific email address? For your support license, I recommend letting us switch you to the Event Espresso 3 business support license so you can update your software. It also includes Event Espresso 4 but migrating is considered a major change on your site so I would wait on making that change and take a look at this guide: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-upgrade-event-espresso/#migrate-to-event-espresso-4 Just send a quick email here and include a link to this support post and we’ll make the support license change for you: — |

Lorenzo, To CONFIRM: When a Registration/Class is purchased, I would like a notification email to be sent to more than one email address. I don’t exactly how many, but maybe 3 to 5 email addresses. Thank you again for the support. |
Hi, you can add that email through the CC email option which appears in the event options area of the event editor. It looks like this: — |

One way to achieve this is to create a new group email and set that as the Primary Contact Email address, depending on how you manage your email address you may be able to do this yourself or contact your provider. But basically you create a group email, lets say its events@mydomain.com You then assign the 5 emails address you are looking to add to that group and then any email address sent to ‘events@mydomain.com’ will go to all of the recipients. This is not the same as forwarding the emails from one address to all, your standard emails to youremail@mydomain.com will continue to remain private. Or, as Lorenzo mentioned you can use the CC Email Address option within the events themselves – http://take.ms/oajrP THis is suefull if the email address differ from event to event. |
