From Email Address is Incorrect

When our users register for an event, the registration email comes from a “Shipslog on behalf of Training@mainsl.com” and this is a configuration we did NOT complete. Everywhere in Event Espresso, we have the correct email address “Training@Mainsl.com”. We cannot find any help in the forums. Is there an additional plugin we need to get and if so, any recommendations?

Hi,

There may already be another plugin installed if you’re seeing something other than what you’ve already set in Event Espresso for the From: email address. WordPress has a filter hook that allows plugins to change the email headers.

For example, does your site have a plugin activated that routes the outgoing email through an email service or sends using SMTP? If so, that plugin may have the setting you’re looking for.
