I used [CO_EMAIL]. I checked the sent emails. If I checked in the right manner, I cannot find any email which was sent for subscription of the free of charge event – not to participants nor to the event manager.
It is the only event, which didn’t get any mail. There also tickets available which can be booked, the tickets cost 0,00 €. So there is the same subscription process as by other events.
I have now one suspicion: Because the ticket is free charge, the email “Registration awaits payment” isn’t sent, all others notifications types are deactived. Which notification type do I have to reactivate for free charge events?
You need to activate the ‘Registration Approved’ message type.
When a registration is made on a paid ticket and payment is made in full, or the ticket is free and they completely the registration, the Registration Status is updated to ‘Approved’ and the ‘Registration Approved’ message is triggered.
‘Registration Pending Payment’ messages are only triggered if the user registers onto the event and finalizes with monies owing (for example they select an offline payment method such as Invoice).
Correction: I use [CO_FORMATTED_EMAIL]
Some (not all) mail servers have issues with _FORMATTED_ email address so you may want to switch to just [CO_EMAIL]
The different is [CO_FORMATTED_EMAIL] outputs – {organization name}<{email_address}>eg‘Tony Warwick ‘`
[CO_EMAIL] outputs just the email address – 'example@example.com'
