Most of our Participant for our event have a user account with us. We use UPME for that. Now is there a way, while they are Logged In and want to register for an Event, It automatically Fills out the field they have in their account. Like First Name, Last Name and Email. (and other custom made fields)
However, it cannot retrieve information from other services out of the box.
Custom coding will be needed to pull that information for your existing service.
There should be a way but it would require custom development to create a plugin similar to WP User Integration for EE4. This is of course something we have planned, but we do not currently have a formal roadmap for this yet.
However, a developer should be able to hook into the the registration form and using either PHP or AJAX query the user details and fill in the form.
While not a huge project in itself, it is also not doable by a code snippet and is something outside of the remit of support.
Thank you for the reply. Too bad its something outside the remit of support. I’m not a developer unfortunately and as Im already doing this pro-bono for an NGO i’ll just have to wait as can’t affort hiring a developer myself.
