I am new to the configuring payments and I am having trouble getting the FirstData payment settings to work. I am getting an error message in the payment configuration screen that reads “Place the .pem file in the following folder. Make sure the .pem file has the same name as your store number.:
…/wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways/firstdata”.

The PEM file is there… and I’ve check the permission settings and they seem fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mike,

Could you let me know the version number that you are running for Event Espresso? This will be available in WordPress Admin –> Plugins –> Event Espresso.

I want to ensure that you are running a current version of the software.

I feel like I am running in circles… I keep clicking on the link to download the latest version.. and it takes me to my user page and I can not see any place to actually download…

Mike,

The account you’re currently signed into (https://eventespresso.com/users/mike/) does not have an active support license. When was the last time you renewed your support license or did you renew under a different account?

Well.. since I’ve just been brought in to figure this problem out… the answer is I don’t know. I do have permission to ho ahead and support an license. Can you tell me how to do that?

Hi Mike,

I’m now seeing a license associated with your account. If you have not yet done so, could you go ahead and backup your WordPress and then update to the current version of Event Espresso 3?

I have updated EE to Version 3.1.36.4.P. I see that there are a few license keys in my account but I am not sure which one is for the current version of EE.

Go with the one that ends in the letter “f.”

Duh! That should have been obvious.
OKAY – EE is updated. License key entered. Checked and rechecked the existence of the PEM file. Still having the same problem.

Could you please create a temporary WordPress admin login and a temporary SFTP or FTP so I can take a closer look at this issue?
