I was using Event Expresso Lite and everything worked well. The I decided to buy and install the pro version. I installed the last version (4….) and now my site is blank page. Also in the backend.
What can I do?
Wordpress is the last version.
It is urgent please.

Hi Renzo,

Did you de-activate Event Espresso 3 Lite before activating Event Espresso 4?

Event Espresso 4 (EE4) is vastly different from EE3 and uses Custom Post Types for events. It currently does not support the Calendar (or any EE3 Add-ons at this time) so depending on your needs you may be better using Event Espresso Premium 3.1.36.4 until EE4 has matured from Beta.

But for now we need to at least get your site back up and running.

Do you have FTP access or access to cPanel? Either of which should have been provided by your host when you signed up with them.

Now I have deactivated EE3 and reinstalled EE4 and it is working well.
I see it is different from previous version and I need sometime to understand…
Some problems:
– I cannot find the link to the registration form.
– When I activate Event Espresso 4 plugin a red square appear in the home page and my featured articles are not shown any more.
Please check at http://www.mediageo.it
Thanks.

Hi Renzo,

I’m having some trouble getting your site to load. I’ve gone to this link:

http://www.mediageo.it/

However, I can see that Chrome is trying to access a site called discountry.it

I’ll try again later today.

Event Espresso 4 has a set of critical pages that it uses. The default events page would be example.com/events/

The other pages can be found in WordPress admin –> Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Critical Pages

Sorry there was a mistake in configuring the live site after the test site.
Try it now to see the mentioned error.

Hi Renzo,

I checked your site and while it is accessible now, I think the other event plugin you have installed is causing a conflict because the event page isn’t loading up as expected. With the default permalink structure that’s set up on your site, normally the event archive would be:

http://www.mediageo.it/?post_type=espresso_events
