Hi all! I was wondering if there is a way I can have a custom registration form, where I can add a few extra fields ?

And also can I have a member registration page, so that when they login they can see their bookings ?

And can I have a recaptcha to save spam registrations since ‘anyone can register’ is enabled ?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Firstly, I am assuming you are running EE3, please advise if this is not the case.

I was wondering if there is a way I can have a custom registration form, where I can add a few extra fields ?

Of course. You can add new questions via the Questions menu item. Then create one or more new Question Groups and assign questions to them. These groups can then be assigned to Primary and/or Additional attendees via the event editor.

Further information:

And also can I have a member registration page, so that when they login they can see their bookings ?

If you have the WP User Integration add on installed and active, there is a shortcode that can be added to a page that will show logged in users their current and past registrations.

Please note that EE doesn’t by default create users when they register for an event, and the user needs to be (site) registered and logged in prior to registering for the event, in order for the event registration to be applied to their user account.

And can I have a recaptcha to save spam registrations since ‘anyone can register’ is enabled ?

Yep, please go to General Settings and scroll down to the reCAPTCHA settings area. There you can enable it. Note that you MUST add in a Public and Private key otherwise your registration form may break. Keys are available for free from recaptcha.net
