Please update to the latest version (currently 4.9.82.p) and retest this.
5XX are server related errors, t could be that your server can’t handle the request or doesn’t like something about the filtered report request.
If you export just a standard event report, does that work?
(Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event} -> Registrations
Bottom of the list click on ‘Event Registrations CSV Report’.
