we have a setup with s2member What can be the cause? |
Hi there, How do you see the fields from S2 Member? Did you create custom questions in EE that match those fields? EE doesn’t integrate with other plugins like that, the registration report would show the answers to the questions asked on the registration form, unless you have some custom code to pull the values from S2 then they will only show whatever was set as the answer during the registration. |

EE4 does not pull values from S2 member so without custom coding, those values are not from S2. What specific fields are you referring to?
It depends what you are trying to do, can you provide more details, please?
S2 may well have been recommended, but that doesn’t mean EE will integrate with it. S2 is a great membership platform and EE is compatible with it but simply put you can’t expect EE to just pull all of the information you need out the box, regardless of which plugin you are using.
Can you provide more details on what it is your trying to do please, you may not need custom coding (you likely will) but its really not clear what it is your trying to do so I don’t know. |

– The are the questions / fields for each user /registrant |
So is that list of fields from the EE event registration form or from the User registration form on your site? |

|
– the first 2 or three where already there (EE I guess) |
Ok, I looked on your site and I can see where you are referring to, but to be clear, its not from Event Espresso. The registration form you are talking about is not the EE registration form, but the WP ‘new user’ registration form. EE links to that page when you try to register onto an event whilst logged out here – http://take.ms/Sc7u6 However EE has no control over that page at all, its from WordPress and S2Member and is used to create a WP user on your site with S2 member custom fields attached to it. I’m guessing you’ve also created those exact same fields within Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Questions, otherwise they wouldn’t show up in the CSV report at all. For EE to pull the information you need with your current setup you are going to need some custom work from a developer, if you are not currently working with a developer we have some that are familiar with Event Espresso listed here: https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/ With your currently setup you need EE to either pull the details from S2 member into the custom question fields during the EE event registration checkout and save them with the registration, or pull them directly into the CSV export and output them there. — The other option is only request the minimum amount of data you need to create the WP User account registration form (email at a minimum, you could also request first and last name if prefered) and then ask the other details on the EE event registration form. Right now your trying to use S2 Member to ask details of the user in a completely separate section of WordPress than where EE runs, so EE doesn’t now know about that data without custom development. |
