Expired Events Still Showing (Sometimes)

Hi Guys

I have had this problem pop up which is starting to become overly irritating. Intermittently (not always), 1 or 2 expired events are showing on my event page.
E.g. – I list 4 events, 2 may be the previous two events that have expired and the other two events listed are the next two events to expire. However this does not always happen. Sometimes it may display the next four events to expire with no expired events displayed. I can’t work out where the problem may lay.

I am using Event Espresso 3.1.36.5.P and for my event list I am using
[EVENT_LIST limit=4 category_identifier=”XXXXX” show_expired=false]

I have checked the expired events that display and their registration end date is definitely before the current date.

I thought is may be a W3 Total Cache problem but I have checked the Page Cache settings and exclude pages and all EE pages & the event list page are excluded.

Any ideas on where I can starting looking and what is going on here?

Hi,

Do you have a page which shows events which shows this happening? If so please provide a link as well as a written list of the events (mark which should be expired), in case we cannot see the events.

Thanks for your email with the site link.

I can’t see any expired events, which is a possibility as you said they were showing inconsistently.

Can I ask, have you modified any of the Event Espresso template files or the core plugin files at all?
