Since the 11th of February, our stripe/EE connection is not working. I have checked keys, and tried to reset the plugins, changed settings, etc. Checked on the Stripe side, everything seems ok. But… No payments are getting through. Expired API Key provided: sk_live_Q0******f0c4. Platform access may have been revoked.
Our new webadmin did clone the site to do some work on removing legacy plugins, and speeding the site up with caching, etc.
Please review the EE, and ensure it and its connection to Stripe is working as it should. I’ve tried everything within my limited technical ability.
We’ve received your request for priority support. I’m afraid the log in information provided is not correct, so we are unable to log in to your site to check things over.
Usually the fix for this is to go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Stripe. There you’ll disconnect your Stripe account on the settings then reconnect again.
As far as I am aware, it will happen if the token is used on 2 or more domains.
On your site, you connected to Stripe (as above) previously which gives your site a ‘token’ to say its valid. Stripe check that when the request comes in and if it doesn’t match the domain (like your webadmin’s temp site domain) it invalidates the token as something isn’t right.
This then means you need to re-validate (by disconnecting and reassigning) your Stripe account to allow it to work.
Do you have any creative/web designers you would recommend, considering that they would know the EE plugin very well?
It really depends on what you are looking to do, but we have some developers familiar with Event Espresso listed here:
