Hello,

My client holds multi-day training sessions and uses a Zoom link in the event description to handle registrations. We do not use the EE ticketing or registration system.

Is there a way to have the zoom link automatically be removed from the description of the multi day event after the first day? Can this be done via custom fields or some other way? We are currently having to log in and edit every event after the first date to manually remove the Zoom registration.

Thanks!

Hi,

I’ve used a shortcode to do this very same thing. The shortcode is provided by this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/scheduled-contnet-by-streama/

(Yes, it’s an old plugin, but I’ve found that it works just fine)

After installing the plugin, in the event’s description, you wrap a shortcode around your zoom link like in the following example:

[schedule expon=2021-01-14 expat=16:01]
zoom link goes here
[/schedule]
