In EE3, the events overview page listed events in order of starting date and upcoming only as the default view. Now in EE4, I have to filter upcoming and then sort by start date because it defaults as all active/inactive by ID number. Is there a way to make it default like EE3 does? Thanks!

Hi Lauren, the events overview screen does not currently support changing the default view that is shown when the page is loaded. However, we do have an enhancement ticket to add an option for this.

I just have a little request for that enhancement ticket – if there is a way for upcoming to also include sold out events, that would be great! Right now they are excluded even if their date is upcoming, and you can’t narrow down to sold out events.

I second this enhancement. My client is annoyed by the extra steps required to see the relevant events because I upgraded the plugin from v3 to v4.

If I could also add to this – if you cancel a registration from a sold out event, you still have to go to the event and change its status to draft and re-publish it, otherwise it will show that there are spaces remaining but it’s still listed as sold out. EE3 automatically just reopened registration again. Thanks!

Hi, we have an enhancement request to include additional event statuses in the dropdown menu on the events overview page so I’ve added additional feedback there.
