Using EE4
when i try to set the permalink to postname the single event page is not shown
http://db/dev/events/mobile-marketing/ this pattern never works

but when i set it to default it starts working
http://db/dev/?espresso_events=mobile-marketing this pattern works

i tried saving the permalinks again and went through your support but couldn’t solve the problem, i want permalink to be set to postname

Thanks in advance

Hi,

EE4 uses custom post types for the events, so changing the permalinks (and “flushing” them by pressing save in the permalink page) should work.

As it isn’t I would suggest disabling all other plugins and try saving the permalink structure again (to rule out plugin conflict).

You may also want to check your caching system if you have one.

Finally, you may want to check your .htaccess, to make sure it isn’t somehow over ruling the default WP permalink structure.
