EVENT_CUSTOM_VIEW Category Restriction

Hi
Using EE3 Custom Template Add on as follows:
[EVENT_CUSTOM_VIEW category_identifier=”1″ ]
But the category restriction does not seem to work. I still get the drop down and events that are in different categories.
Any ideas?

Hi,

The category identifier is not a single digit. If you look on the category overview page, in the shortcode section or in the individual category editor screen you will see the longer category identifier:
