I have tried multiple ways to get an instructor to show up on an event description or in the event info… i have entered [espresso_staff] in description line and the only thing that appears is [espresso_staff] not the actual persons name…??

Hi,
Shortcodes are case sensitive, so in this case the shortcode is [ESPRESSO_STAFF]

I copy and pasted the short code EXAXTLY as you showed it…all I got was the code showing. I had to actually click on the staff manager and grab the other code which is not convenient…??? I will send attachment in a few minutes but it’s not workog to just get the instructor name…that’s all I was looking for was to have the staff member name show

Ok, glad you got it working.
If it happens again, make sure to check the TEXT tab on the event editor, just to check that the shortcode hasn’t been wrapped in pre or code tags or similar.
