I have an event that has 10 tickets, has sold 8 and has 8 registrations but shows as sold 10 and as sold out.
Running the latest version of Plugin 4.10.3p and have reset the numbers via the maintenance option but still not joy. If I increase the tickets to 11 it shows as having a ticket available but then putting it back to 10 shows as sold out again as the screen shows 10 sold.
Actually, I checked the site linked to your license and it looks like you are using PayPal Standard.
The above is a known issue with PayPal Standard and one of the reasons we actually deprecated that payment method a little while ago (Users using it can continue to do so but it does not show on new installs of Event Espresso). First, I recommend switching to use PayPal Express and we have some docs on finding the correct credentials for doing so here:
(Note you need a PayPal business/premier account but you do not need to ‘upgrade’ your account or pay a monthly fee to PayPal to use this payment method)
We recommend switching as PayPal Express does not use “IPNs” like standard does, we’ve found those to be unreliable and causes odd issues when both the user and the IPN for that user hit the site at the same time.
Switching will prevent this from happening with additional events but fixing the above will require access to your site and database, or you can simply increase the limit on that event.
