Event search auto-complete results are displayed at the end of the list

When I start typing for some events, the results window opens with pretty much height, and the results (1, or 4, for example) start filling this list from the bottom, so there is a big gap of empty space from the beginning of the list. Any idea why this happens?

I have changed the theme and it looks ok now, doesn’t seem EE related.
