Event registration not working on mobile device – EE4

Hi,

Event registration seems to work fine on desktop, but not on phone. When we select a QTY and the click “Register Now”, it goes to screen that says “Nothing in your event queue.”

Client just launched business, so we need fast fix. Can some please let us know how to solve this issue?

Hi Curtis,

I tested a registration on your site and get the same problem with desktop. I’m guessing your logging in on desktop but not mobile? (Caching is usully disabled when logged in)

It looks like your ‘classes’ are cached – http://take.ms/tjapK

As are the EE4 critical pages listed in Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical pages.

Can you run through the steps here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/setup-nocache-exclusion-rules-event-espresso/

Only rather than entering the url strings into a plugin, you’ll need to contact flywheel and have them exclude those strings from server side caching.

Note it looks like you have changed the /events/ slug to be /classes/ so you’ll need to use that in its place.

When contacting flywheel, do I need to include the :
wp-.*\.php
index\.php

as part of the list?

No, those are default strings from W3 Total Cache.

You just need your EE4 critical pages and any pages that have the ticket selector available.

Thanks, Also, if we go directly to the /classes/ page it shows as “archives” and allows comments, etc..
Is there a way to edit that page layout? So there are no comments, and I can change the age title?

The event list is an archive of EE event posts and it depends on your theme how that is output, it is usually fairly simple to change depending on the theme.

I can’t see ‘archives’ or comments on that output, I’m guessing you’ve figured this out already?
