Our customers are currently receiving the following error message when attempting to register for an event, even though it is still within the permitted event registration time period:
“It appears that the event you were about to make a payment for is not accepting payments at this time. Please contact the event administrator if you believe this is an error.”
May I ask what is the event’s Default Registration Status, and does the event currently have available spaces to register? It may also help if we can take a look at the event’s page, can you post a link to the event page?
It looks like that might be the result of caching. Can you contact your webhost and ask them if they can exclude the registration-checkout page from being served from a cache.
May I ask what is the URL they’re on when they see the “It appears that the event you were about to make a payment for is not accepting payments at this time. Please contact the event administrator if you believe this is an error.” message?
