Event is missing

Hello,
I’ve become frustrated after submitting several events. After creating the new events, submitting them and constantly clicking “update” every few minutes I have found that my events disappear from event overview. They are in-active events. One old event created by my web designer as a test is the only one that appears in the event overview.

WP standard theme version 3.8

LITE version, no installed add-ons
new installation that web designer installed.

Hi Jill,

Are you able to view the events from the front end? If so, can you post a link to one so we can take a look?

Josh, I don’t know what you mean by front end—pardon me. Could you explain? The events I submitted last week are not visible to me anywhere.
This is what I see.

The one event listed is one my website designer set up as a test event. Thanks.

I think I am having this exact same issue:

Add new event
Is this an active event? No
Submit new event
Get taken to an overview page that only shows my new event
Click away from it, click back to overview… event vanished.

It doesn’t show up on the front end because it’s not an active event, right?

WP 3.7.1

Hi there,

This looks like there was a change the the way that the Event Overview query is run that did not take the lite version into consideration. One way to work around this is to edit line 171 of the current lite version’s includes/event-management/queries.php file so it reads:

$SQL .= 'WHERE e.event_status = "A" OR e.event_status = "O" ';

I’ll send a ticket to the dev team so this can be fixed in the next update.

We will try and get the issue resolved as soon as possible but hopefully your web designer can resolve it in the meantime.
