I was looking the event grid view add on for EE4, and wanted to know if it is like the calendar functionality, where you can embed the code on a site, where the EE plug is not installed?
We have a separate subdomain setup for our events, where the EE plug is, however on the home page for our publishing site, we’d like to display a grid view of upcoming events, which is dynamic, so we don’t need to be continually updating the webpage.
No, but theres nothing stopping you from adding the grid template to a page and then loading that page within an iframe on the ‘other’ site.
You would likely need to create a ‘blank’ custom page template that did not output any other sections from the theme (Header, footer, sidebar etc) but still load wp_head to make sure you had any .css or .js files required.
Would that work?
