Hi,
First things first: please update Event Espresso.

There was some registration issues in the version you are using, so updating may resolve the error.

Remember to back up your site before updating. https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-back-up-your-site/

If the update does not resolve the error, please advise and we can look into this further.

Hi Dean:

Thanks for your reply. Well, the license key was reset, so finally I could update the version. But the problem is not resolved yet. I test with a new registration and the is still the same.

Help.

Thanks.

Julio

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are appreciated.

Hi,

OK I see the issue. What’s happening is because you have no Payment system set up, the users “session” isn’t being closed.

As such if the same person registers once, and then once again it will over write the previous record, because the system is thinking its the same person just changing their data.

If the event is not free, it needs a payment system in place, even if it is just a an “offline” system like Cheque or Money order, as they can click a link on those to finalise their registration and clear the session.

Hi Dean:

Thanks a lot for the help. I made the Payment setup for Cheque/Money Order and now the registration ended correctly.

Best regards,

Julio.
