On Event Espresso – Grid View Template plugin shortcode is not working on the updated event espresso updated plugin. When I used on category in the shortcode.
Like: [ESPRESSO_GRID_TEMPLATE category_slug=pance limit=5]
Without category is working fine.

I did check on our Updated plugin. and that problem don’t exist. Kindly update your plugin to the latest version which is 5.0.19
But may we know why you still remain on 5.0.7?

If I updated the plugin then event is not showing on which page i used this shortcode [ESPRESSO_GRID_TEMPLATE category_slug=pance limit=5].

Hi there,
In your opening post you’ve mentioned this happens when you sat a category_slug, so does the shortcode worth without a category_slug?
[ESPRESSO_GRID_TEMPLATE limit=5]
Or does that also break?
Do you have this snippet on the site somewhere?

You’re using a custom template for the grid template.
If you try with the detail template, does the same happen then?

yes I am using custom code for display events.
If I removed the code but not working the the event category shortcode.

I’ve tested the above and it seems the shortcode is conflicting with one of your plugins or themes custom code.
As you have over hundreds of plugins, I can’t say which one is exactly causing the issue.

You mentioned above you removed the custom code form staging… but I can still see the custom template from within your theme on staging?
Which custom code did you remove?
On staging, rename the espresso-grid-template.template.php template file in your themes root directory to something else, for example espresso-grid-template-temp.template.php and then let me know so can test the above page again.
