Hi, Event Espresso Calendar add-on would not show all events entered. Now, for some reason my license key is not valid any more and I am not able to update Event Espresso Calendar add-on – as it would not offer me an update link. I was able to update it to version 2.2.4 but for some reason it went back to the older version 2.0.6.2 |
I forgot to mentioned that I requested a new license key but after about an hour showing “request pending” it re-issued the exact same key ??? How to enable automatic update for Calendar add-on plugin? Thanks |
Hi Chris, a reset releases your support license key. You won’t get a new one from doing that. The version of the events calendar that you mentioned is quite old at 2.0.6.2. Could you manually update by removing the current version and downloading the latest version from your Event Espresso account page here? https://eventespresso.com/users/cwspanialy/#ee3-downloads Then upload and activate through the WordPress plugins screen in your WP dashboard. Moving forward, one-click update services should then be available for your site. — |

I updated from ver 2.06.2 to 2.2.4 last year Dec 2014 but for some strange reason it reverted it back to the old version – any idea how this could happened ? Thanks |
Could you please send me steps how to manually install 2.2.6 – I already downloaded ZIP. Do I have to do anything with the other plugin Event Espresso 3.1.35.P |
Thanks Lorenzo, I see files and two subfolders css and scripts in main folder I extracted files from 2.2.6 ZIP and ready to override in /espresso-calendar folder. |

Hi Chris, Try these steps: 1) Deactivate and remove the old events calendar 2) Download the latest version of the events calendar for Event Espresso 3 3) Go to WP-admin –> Plugins –> Add New. Then browse to the file on your computer and start the upload and allow it to finish. 4) Activate the events calendar Your version of Event Espresso 3 is also out of date so repeat those steps above for Event Espresso 3. That is, remove the old version, then download the latest version of Event Espresso 3, and then upload and activate it. Once you are done, the latest version of Event Espresso 3 along with the events calendar should be activated. Moving forward, your site should have access to one-click updates. — |

Hi, In WP plugins is shows: A new version of Espresso Calendar available. View What’s New with version 2.2.7.p. A valid Support License Key is needed to enable automatic upgrades. The key you have entered is invalid or has expired. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now. So how to get a valid key ? I already requested twice from EE staff a new key but both times it showed the old key? I wonder if someone is able to assist to resolve the license key issue Thanks |
Chris, You’ll need to manually update to the current software. You will not be able to use one-click updates as the events calendar version that you are using is too old and cannot access automatic updates. Please take another look at these steps: https://eventespresso.com/topic/event-espresso-calendar-add-on-does-not-show-events/#post-180002 After those steps are completed, then your site will be able to use the automatic updates moving forward. — |
Thanks Lorenzo, I was able to follow your steps. Can I use the old one? or should insist to get a new one? Thanks |
Hi Chris, A reset releases your support license key and does not create a new one. I’ve released it again: https://eventespresso.com/users/cwspanialy/#account-settings Go to Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Support license (towards end of the page). Then re-save and your site will reconnect itself to the support services. — |

Hi Lorenzo, I noticed that after upgrading both EE3 to 3.1.37 and EE3 Calendar to 2.2.7 there was an message about “Atos gateway has been removed from EE core 3.1.37. Please download and upload the Atos gateway to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/gateways Any idea what is Atos gateway? Thanks for all you help |
Hi Chris, You don’t need the Atos gateway unless you were previously using the Atos gateway to collect payments. When you upgrade to Event Espresso 4, you’ll also need to install the Calendar add-on that’s compatible with Event Espresso 4. The best way to make sure everything will work the way you want it to is you copy your site onto a development/staging server, and run the update to Event Espresso 4 and the add-ons there first. |
