Hi,
The Event Espresso plugin is breaking the pagination on my news posts. I am using Elementor Pro which has a posts element that creates the pagination. You can see this on the site Positive 2 Work News. Try to go to page 2 or 3 and the page gets a 301 redirect to something like https://www.positive2workskillnet.ie/news/2/page/2/. It should be just going to /news/2/
The reason I know EE is causing this is that I deactivated all plugins except Elementor and Elementor Pro and the pagination works. Then by process of elimination I re-activated the plugins 1 by 1 and checked the pagination. Once I re-activated EE the problem occurs again.
I have also tried changing the theme to WordPress 2020 theme to be sure the theme was not interfering (as there is some EE specific code in theme) but the same thing happens.
This has been driving me crazy for ages now.

I have created a copy of the site at http://preview.create.ie/positive2work/news/
So we can do what we want to this copy of the site, without affecting the live site.
Can you take a look and help?
Thanks

Oh, probably won’t help but when using ‘Plain’ permalinks there is no problem, but obviously we cannot use this as the pages url just read like ?ID=2364.

Hi Josh,
Thanks for that. That works.
Does that affect Event Espresso events pagination?

Hi there,

It shouldn’t do no, EE won’t set paging anymore, but elementor will so paging should work.
