I recently migrated my client’s site to GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress hosting, where we discovered the problem with caching affecting the event cart, causing it to show an empty page. I deleted the cache file per instructions I found on the forums, and now it seems to be working fine EXCEPT for on my Safari browser (Mac OSX). Are there any known issues with Safari and the event cart? This is the events page of the site in question: https://facialacupunctureclasses.com/events/
Actually, after a few tries I did get a checkout page on your site with Safari. There may still be some caching happening on the site where the session isn’t maintaining state.
I was not the admin of the site before it moved, so I don’t know if there were any Safari specific issues. Safari on iOS is working fine as far as I can tell, it’s just my desktop. I will poke around a bit more and if I can’t get it figured out I will open a ticket with GoDaddy. Thank you!
This is a shot in the dark, but if you can try disabling the CDN that may help. At the very least you’ll be able to rule out whether the CDN is affecting anything there.
Disabling the CDN did not help, so I went through the other plugins installed and after deactivating the plugin “Global Site Tag Tracking”, the cart seems to be working in Safari again. (There’s also another Google Analytics plugin installed, so I think there is some sort of conflict going on. As I mentioned, I am a new admin on the site, so I don’t know all the details of why things were set up this way.)
I am keeping my fingers crossed that it stays working! Thank you for all your help.
