I have installed Event Calendar Permissions twice. When I click on settings it tells me I do not have permissions to access the module. When I go to Widgets all the widgets placements are gone. Is this a known issue if so is there a fix?

Which version of Event Espresso are you using and which version of the Calendar?

I downloaded the latest EE4. On my personal page it provided a link to a calendar download for version 2 of the calendar so I downloaded it.

Hi Stephen,
The blue downloads are for EE4, the green downloads for EE3.
The permissions issue your are currently seeing is due to running the Event Espresso 3 Calendar with Event Espresso 4.
Event Espresso 4 does not include any of the Add-on’s, see here for more details:

https://eventespresso.com/product/ee4-events-calendar/ so this is a paid for add-on? This one will work with EE4 according to the docs

Both EE3 and EE4 have their own Calendar Add-on.

EE3 Calendar – https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-calendar/
Each Add-on will only work with the version it is intended for.
