Event Builder / Unique Identifier

I have been playing around in the event module demo to see if this plug in fits our needs and have several questions. I’m trying to address all the possible ‘what if’ scenarios before making any decisions. I realize that some of the steps are probably not fully functional being a demo site and some questions may seem a little off the wall but here it goes.

1. In the Event Builder: what is the Unique Identifier?
Is this where the registration link to the event is created or because we have different accounting codes to each of our events, would this be where I could put that accounting code? Do I understand that the registration link to be used and marketed would come from Espresso for each event or no?

Hello Kimberly,

1) Unique Identifier. This is a random unique number for an event that allows the plugin to track the event. It is often used in shortcodes when you need to specify a particular event, and is used internally sometimes as well.

It isnt used as a registration link, there is a separate ID for the event (an incremental numerical value starting at 1) which is used, for example event with ID 1, would have a URL of http://www.yoursite.com/event-registration/?ee=1

“Do I understand that the registration link to be used and marketed would come from Espresso for each event or no?”

I’m sorry, I dont understand what you mean.
