Hello,
I’ve just installed EE4 on our . However after adding the shortcode [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=’36’] to our homepage as mentioned here http://www.eventmanagerblog.com/tyler-theme-guide#11.3 it still doesn’t show.
I can still manage to view the event on this link http://cheerstogoodness.com/seattlestudio/events/mbstudios-opening/ but it’s not showing on our homepage. We’re still in the development phase of our website and I haven’t ass the support license key yet, we are making sure that everything is working well before going live. Thank you!

I assume that they ticket selector should be showing at the Grab Your Tickets section on this page http://cheerstogoodness.com/seattlestudio/?
Have you tested the shortcode with a different theme? (You could use something like the Theme Test Drive plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-test-drive/)
I am assuming your theme is custom made as I couldn’t trace any theme information. I’m wondering if there is something stopping shortcodes from working in on that page, does the shortcode work on any page at all?

What could possibly prevent the shortcode from working on the homepage?

Hi Omar,
This sounds like something that’s been fixed in the alpha version of EE (currently 4.3). You can download a pre-release copy of Event Espresso 4.3 from your account page after you opt into the pre-release channel (the opt-in is a checkbox on your account page).
