Test drove Espresso 3. Everything was working great, so I decided to buy Espresso 4. Now when I try to use the short code [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=’572′] to embed the registration into another page, nothing appears. Here’s the page:

Hello,
Could you turn on pretty permalinks through WP admin –> Settings –> Permalinks? Once on this page, you can click on postname and save changes.

One other bit of info, the WP theme I’m using already came with an events custom post type. Don’t know if that matters or is causing the problem.

I don’t believe I can turn it off.
Under theme options -> custom post slug, I can change the slug name and taxonomy name for events.

Hi Dena,
If the themes event custom post type is renamed to something different, Event Espressos event custom post type will work.
However, adding the [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=’17’] shortcode to the newly renamed themes custom post type will still not function. I am not sure as to why. Adding the [ESPRESSO_TICKET_SELECTOR event_id=’17’] to a normal post or page works just fine, so it must be something within the themes custom post type code that is blocking the shortcode. It may well be related to it originally being called “events”.
