I am getting complaints from my client that users are running into this error when trying to submit the form to register for an event.
“An error has occurred: Association/Company: HTML tags are not permitted in this field. EED single page checkout_check form submission_ 915.”
In playing with the form I have noticed that if there is a space after the last word in a field it will throw this error. For example if I enter my first name and then a space in the first name field it throws this error. Once I remove the space it allows me to register.
How do I fix this? The website users do not have any clue what this error means and it doesn’t help them to fix the errors in the form.

Hi Melinda,
You can fix this by updating to the current version of Event Espresso. There was a bug that was fixed in the form validation system.
