I have some errors coming in and have downloaded an error log and my dev is requesting that i have somebody at event espresso explain them if possible is it possible for me to email it to somebody?

Hi there,

How big is the error log? If it’s more than 10MB you’ll need to host it somewhere and include a link to it rather than sending it directly within the email.

Please include some additional details on what problem you are running into within the email as a log file without any context may not be useful (depending on the errors).

Ok, so the errors basically stem down to:

open_basedir restriction in effect. File({location}) is not within the allowed path(s):

Which means that something in on your site is trying to read/write a file, but the open_basedir restrictions on your server wont allow it. To stop those errors you’ll need to contact your host and have them update the above setting to allow for it.

The errors are being thrown by DOMPDF when trying to access a temp directory so I’m guessing your Invoice/Receipt PDF’s don’t look correct when you download them from the site?
