Empty primary attendee input fields when editing registrant information

I have an issue when clicking “edit registrant information” on the payment overview page the primary attendee’s first name, last name, email, and address inputs are empty. If a simple click of the back button is used the data is displayed as expected.

The input for an “empty” field looks like this:

<input type=”text” title=”” class=” required my_class ee-reg-page-text-input ” id=”fname-21-76-1″ name=”fname[21][76][1]” value=””>

I’m running the latest EE business version and the members module. Other plugins include Wishlist Member, Profile Builder, WooCommerce. My theme is iRain at Themeforest.

I did have an issue with the theme where the inputs where hidden if they were required and not completed. I edited the CSS and fixed that issue but I don’t see a connection with these specific inputs.

Any help is appreciated

I’ve tested with the default theme, and turning off plugins and the issue does resolve when I deactivate the EE Members plugin. We are using Profile builder and not the wordpress user profile to manage users contact and address data. We need the membership plugin to handle the discounts for members but we need to resolve the issue when a member and non member are returning to edit their attendee information to have the content that they entered be displayed and not empty.

Eventhough the inputs are empty on the edit attendee page when viewing the incomplete attendee record from the admin the correct data is being recorded but just not displayed.

How can I get EE to pull the contact and address data from EE and not the member/user profile as it appears to be attempting to do?

Thanks!

Hi,

I am sorry about that, I can also verify that it is doing this. It works fine for single registrations but with Multiple Event Registration it is not. I will get a ticket raised for the developers to look into.

Dean can you provide any update or timeline?

Hello Matthew,

I cannot provide a timeline on this, as the developers queue things according to their own system/processes.

I raised the priority level on the ticket, and the developers will look into it as soon as they can.
