We are using a standard WP SMTP plugin to get through MicroSoft365 blocks. No email tests or registration messages are going out. How can this be fixed. Also, I need to set Espresso to send an email to 3 separate emails every time there is a registration. Can you help please? Thanks. |
Hi there, EE just builds out the content of the email, then passes the email to the WP core function wp_mail(), so in short, if WP can not send emails then neither can EE.
Which MS365 blocks are you referring to?
I’m assuming you mean EE test emails? Do ‘normal’ WP emails work such as password resets or new user emails?
Let’s get your emails actually working before moving onto additional emails. You can add CC emails, or multiple email address to the message templates that EE uses however not all servers support that setup, so let’s make sure a normal setup works first. |

All WP emails are going through except event Espresso emails. Microsoft is now blocking email into the domain mail server if the site is hosted at another IP so we use an SMTP pluging to go directly through the Microsoft mail server. Under Message Activity it is showing Red and Orange. When I click send immediately button on right, I get this message … An error has occurred: |
In the message activity table, on the right hand side under actions do you see a icon? If so click on that, what do you see then? |

Message was not executed successfully. I have switched to Easy WP SMTP that was noted in another post and when I send a test, it will go through but under messages, it still shows red |
Hi there, Can you try changing the From address set in the message template to use the same From address set in the Easy WP SMTP plugin settings? |
